Christophe Claret is known for his extravagant designs and elaborate caliber.
At the beginning of his career, he produced tourbillons and watches with minute repetition for famous producers such as Harry Winston and Ulysse Nardin.
The first watch of Ulysse Nardin with minute repetition was drafted and designed by Christophe Claret.
To celebrate his company's 10th anniversary, Claret designed a watch with an integrated music box. It was the world's first watch with that kind of complication and gained much recognition from the circle of watchmakers.
Another world novelty introduced by Claret in 1998 was the first transparent watch in which all the bridges of the movement were made of sapphire glass.
However, his greatest success Claret celebrated in 2004 with Harry Winston.
The “Tourbillon Glissiere”, developed and designed by him, won the GPHG (Grand Prix d'horlogerie de Geneve). This watch was created with a unique winding mechanism which does not work via a rotor, but with 2 separate weights which slide back and forth on rails.
Ten years passed before Christophe Claret published a new masterpiece of watchmaking in celebration of the 20th anniversary of his manufactory.
The Dual Tow, a watch that literally bursts with innovation and fresh design.
