The world-famous watch manufacturer Jaeger-LeCoultre has been perfecting the watch world since 1833. The specialities of this manufactory includes elaborate movements in classic cases.
In 1931 JLC created a unique selling point which is one of a kind.
JLC solved the problem of broken watch glass during sports activities.
Inspired by polo-sport, the manufacturer developed the world famous 'Reverso'. A masterpiece that allows the centre piece to rotate, making it possible to turn the watch glass downwards and protect it from possible impacts.
This function is still in demand today, despite the use of scratch-resistant sapphire glass. This idea was further developed and so watches with two different dials emerged, which of course requires a great skill of watchmaking.
