Glashütte Original Senator Tourbillon Edition Alfred Helwig
The new version of the Senator Tourbillon: Edition Alfred Helwig, presents itself with not just one but two domestic complications: a flying tourbillon, which offers fascinating insights, and the panorama date. Its new face has a bright dial and blued hands. The Roman "index" at 1 o'clock discretely reveals the individual numbering of the limited edition, which is limited to 25 pieces.
The Glashütte Original Senator Tourbillon sits in a 42 mm white gold case, which is framed by a light silver Grainé dial.
A black Louisiana alligator leather strap with white gold foldover clasp ensures a stylish and, above all, secure fit on the wrist. Inside the watch the Glashütte Original Manufacture caliber 94-03 with 48 hours power reserve is ticking away beautifully.
The panorama date display celebrates its 20th anniversary and is placed below 12 o'clock. The Flying Tourbillon was developed around 1920 by Alfred Helwig in Glashütte. This tourbillon is held by one single bearing, making it one of the most sought after horological complications.
