SIHH 2018 Preview - Ulysse Nardin Marine Tourbillon Grand Feu
The new Ulysse Nardin Navy Tourbillon Blue Grand Feu impresses with the extraordinary beauty of a blue Grand Feu enamel dial, with which Ulysse Nardin adds to the Marine Collection for the SIHH 2018.
The automatic caliber UN-128 was manufactured in-house, and the silicon-based movement not only has a power reserve of 60 hours, but also has a flying tourbillon. Such a tourbillon is one of the most complex and impressive mechanisms in the world of haute horlogerie. It is designed to offset the negative effects of gravity on the accuracy of the movement. In this high-precision timepiece the cage, wheels, screws and hairspring of Ulysse Nardin's flying tourbillon are all completely produced in-house.
The elegant hands, the Roman numbers of the Marine collection, the power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock and the breath-taking flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock complement the elegance of the blue Grand Feu enamel dial. The 43 mm case is waterproof up to 100 m, as it should be for a nautical instrument. The watch is held securely on the wrist by a tasteful alligator leather strap.
